The latest turn of proposed rules changes by the SEC consists of 1654 pages of new rules. Given all the current constraints on IRO's time, this panel made up of market structure experts, buy-siders and market makers and traders will provide participants with a high-level understanding on several key topics of the changes including: 1) What the proposed changes are meant to do; 2) What is the expected impact to the various market participants; and 3) what IROs should be preparing for in response.

After attending this program participants should be able to:

  • Identify the more critical changes proposed by the SEC's new rules and the drivers behind them.
  • Grasp the potential, broad reaching impact to the Buy-side, the market exchanges and the issuers of public stock.
  • Apply the steps that IRO's should be taking to approach these changes and how to weigh-in on them.
