Join NIRI SF on Wednesday, November 6th at The Olympic Club in San Francisco to hear from experts regarding Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). This event will help you to improve your messaging and prepare for the 2020 proxy season. 

During this workshop, you can expect a highly interactive format in which you will ‎learn the latest developments in ESG and related communications to better respond to increasing investor sustainability demands. We will walk through different scenarios such as developing ESG policies and disclosures to respond to real-life investor demands.

Speakers/
Facilitators:
  • Anne Chapman - Managing Director at Joele Frank Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher,  focuses on governance, working with management teams and directors on topics related to shareholder communication and engagement.  Prior to joining Joele Frank in 2017, Anne spent over 28 years at Capital Group where for 25 years she was responsible for leading the governance and proxy voting effort, working with the investment professionals and the American Funds' independent directors to develop governance policies.
     
  • Greg Elders - Managing Director at Joele Frank Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher, has over 15 years of experience as an ESG investment research analyst working with investors and companies to identify and address key ESG risks and opportunities. Prior to joining Joele Frank in 2019, Greg held roles including as Senior ESG Analyst at J.P. Morgan and Bloomberg Intelligence in London and New York where he was voted the top-rated ESG analyst.
     
  • Kevin Roy – Founder and Managing Director of the North America Corporate Advisory division at IHS Markit, which he joined through the acquisition of Ipreo in 2018. Kevin leads the team that provides market intelligence and advisory services to clients encompassing over 60% of the DJIA, 55% of the S&P 500 and 35% of the NASDAQ 100. Before joining Ipreo, Kevin worked in the Corporate Advisory Service Group at Thomson Financial where he was a Director managing the firm’s Energy Group.
     
  • Chad Spitler - Founder and CEO of Third Economy, a sustainable investment research and advisory firm. Chad was formerly a Partner at PJT CamberView, an advisory firm specializing in helping public companies engage with their investors particularly around complex or contested shareholder matters. He is most widely known for his role building what are now BlackRock’s Investment Stewardship and Sustainable Investing teams.
