As both of these launches into the public markets is without the assistance of an Underwriter to help manage road shows and to ‘Fill the Placement Book”, come join us and our panel of experts to hear about how their IR programs differed, what strategies they undertook and focused on as well as their experiences as to who to target, how to manage your pre-existing investors, what channels to use and resources to leverage. This will certainly be an interesting panel discussion!
Speakers:
Anil Gupta, VP Investor Relations @ Coinbase
Anil is a 15+ year veteran of the sell-side and investor relations groups at two of Silicon Valley’s most visible companies.
Anil joined Coinbase in January 2021 to lead investor relations ahead of the company’s milestone direct listing. He joined the cryptoeconomy leader following an 8+ year run at Facebook, where he most recently served as Director, Investor Relations. Anil joined Facebook shortly after the 2012 IPO and was instrumental in building out the IR function to support the company’s extraordinary growth.
Prior to embarking on his IR career, Anil worked in equity research at both Oppenheimer and Imperial Capital where he was the covered Internet and media equities. He began his career as a management consultant.
Anil graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Finance. He has been known throughout his career as a collaborative, relationship-oriented partner who enjoys working in high-growth technology environments.

Tina Romani, Vice President of Investor Relations @ Warby Parker
Tina joined Warby Parker in June 2021 to lead investor relations in advance of their direct listing. Tina has a decade of IR experience managing Investor Relations having transferred from the FP&A Division into IR at The Gap.
Prior to her work in IR, Tina was the Assistant Controller of Prologis managing the Company’s quarterly public reporting process including preparation of the Company’s Analyst Package and SEC filings and before that was a full time auditor with Ernst& Young and oversaw the multi-location audit of Clorox (a Fortune 500 Issuer).
Tina graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science Degree from Cal Poly having dual majored with Finance and Accounting with a minor in Economics at Washington University in St. Louis.

Chris Genualdi, Vice President of Investor Relations @ Planet Labs PBC
Chris Genualdi is the Vice President of Investor Relations at Planet Labs PBC. Prior to this he was the Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Development at NETGEAR. He has over a decade of experience leading public company investor relations programs. Prior to that, he served as an IR advisor out of New York for technology companies..
Chris is an alum of University of Richmond. Chris lives in San Francisco with his wife and son, and enjoys spending his free time outdoors.
Chris is currently a member of the board of NIRI’s San Francisco Chapter.
Michael Cavanaugh, Managing Director @ Westwicke
As a Managing Director with ICR Westwicke, Mike Cavanaugh works with public and private companies in the medical device, life sciences tools and diagnostics spaces. He developed his expertise in helping companies shape their messages to the investment community through 20 years working on Wall Street in a variety of healthcare research and client-facing roles.
Immediately prior to joining ICR Westwicke, Mike was a Managing Director at Advent Capital Management covering institutional investors and consultants in multiple verticals and geographies. Prior to that, he held business development and client service roles at Boston-area investment management firms including State Street, as well as healthcare research and research sales roles at Standard & Poor’s, Salomon Brothers, Lazard, and Bear Stearns. His diversified experiences have provided an intimate knowledge of the public and private investment markets from multiple viewpoints, as well as significant industry relationships.
Mike has a BA in economics from Trinity College (CT) and an MBA in finance from Vanderbilt University. He lives in Sudbury, Massachusetts, with his wife and three sons.
